The Brandizzi firm was founded in 1887 by the will and passion of Giacomo Ettore Brandizzi, a well-known engraver and appreciated art teacher, who forged artworks of inestimable value in the artisan shop he started on via dei Coronari, in the heart of Rome, a few steps from Piazza Navona, helped by his son and engineer, Arnaldo Brandizzi.

Among the most important works, which can be admired still today, the urn of Pope Innocent XI in St. Peter’s Basilica, the urn of Blessed Cardinal Bellarmine in the Church of Saint Ignatius, the silver reliquaries donated to the popes during the beatification and kept in the Matilde Chapel in Vatican City and the five Golden Roses offered by popes and destined for Members of Royal Houses are worthy of mention.

Arnaldo Brandizzi’s love for the arts and rigorous professionalism were inherited by his grandsons, Andrea and Duccio who, driven both by a passion for jewellery and watches, in 1987 started the sales of vintage and contemporary watches of the most prestigious Swiss-based watch houses.

Thanks to the long family tradition and the passion for the sale of precious objects, today the Brandizzi brothers’ shop is considered a point of reference for enthusiasts and collectors from all over the world.
